The campaign marking the return of Capital do Móvel to Lisbon invites Lisbon residents to discover the best of the furniture and decoration sector at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion. The Bazooka agency is responsible for the campaign’s creative concept.
The 1942 Portuguese classic “Pátio das Cantigas” served as inspiration for the 57th edition of Capital do Móvel, which will be held for the second time at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion in Lisbon from July 6 to 10.
Set in one of Lisbon’s traditional neighborhoods during the Santos Populares celebrations, this iconic film uses comedy to portray the charm and simplicity of the era. With creative direction from the Bazooka agency, Capital do Móvel aims to evoke nostalgia for this historic Lisbon and engage its people. This inspiration led to the campaign’s motto, “O Lisboa, come and see this”, inviting the city’s most emblematic neighborhoods to take part in the event.
“With this campaign, we want to make a friendly call for attention, spark the curiosity of Lisboners with a refined period aesthetic, and showcase distinctive furniture,”
explains Samuel Santiago, President of the Paços de Ferreira Business Association (AEPF), the event’s organizer.
He also highlights that this campaign is a way to demonstrate that furniture is truly timeless.
The campaign visuals feature a variety of furniture pieces, including sofas, chairs, and tables, all of which will be on display at the exhibition, live and in color.
In addition to billboards placed at strategic locations across Lisbon, the campaign will be promoted in the press, online, and on the city’s public transport network, including buses.
