The Paços de Ferreira Business Association (AEPF) Expands the Capital do Móvel Brand Beyond Borders

The Paços de Ferreira Business Association (AEPF) is once again taking the Capital do Móvel brand beyond borders with the Feeling the Essence of Portuguese Furniture exhibition. From April 13 to 22, we will be at the Foire Internationale de Toulouse, showcasing the quality and diversity of Made in Portugal products in the French market.

The Feeling the Essence of Portuguese Furniture exhibition will feature carefully selected furniture and decoration pieces, serving as a reference point for the region’s offerings and adapting to current lifestyle trends. The show will present pieces from:

  • White Oak Furniture, ClassCasa, RJ Group, Mezzovous, Moverna, Madiestofo, and New Space Acrílicos.

Additionally, the exhibition will include partnerships in the textile, home textiles, and decoration sectors, featuring companies such as European Sky, Gina Decorações, Fasxinios, Crialme, and Confeções TM. This initiative aims to highlight the interconnected industries of the region and promote economic synergy.

The Foire Internationale de Toulouse serves as a major economic showcase, featuring various exhibition sectors across multiple pavilions spanning 90,000m². The fair attracts approximately 100,000 visitors eager to discover new products.

“This is a fair aimed at the general public, so we felt it made sense to bring furniture from our dealers and exhibitors at Capital do Móvel. It is important to remember that Paços de Ferreira alone has 1 million square meters of exhibition space,”
said AEPF President Rui Carneiro.

Following a successful participation at the Spring Fair in Birmingham last February, the objective is to generate new commercial opportunities.

“We see this as an excellent way to promote the region’s businesses and enable them to establish long-term partnerships. At the last international fair, there was significant interest in our furniture, and many entrepreneurs made valuable connections. In France, we hope to further expand our network and, who knows, even attract visitors to our own Capital do Móvel, taking place from April 27 to May 5,”
says Rui Carneiro.

The Feeling the Essence of Portuguese Furniture exhibition will continue its international journey, with upcoming stops in Belgium, Spain, and Sweden, further contributing to the global marketing and expansion of the region’s companies.
